Assembly Technician – Waterblasting Equipment
Location: Houston, TX 77092
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of high-pressure waterblasting units and subassemblies, ensuring quality and precision in every build.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a mechanical background looking to grow within a stable and supportive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble high-pressure waterblasting equipment and subassemblies to specification.

Perform in-process inspections and correct any defects found.

Complete final inspection documentation and equipment testing.

Follow detailed engineering procedures and Bill of Materials (BOMs).

Document and report any defects or non-conforming parts.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the assembly process.

Assist in cross-training within the department (assembly, shipping, receiving).

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Previous experience assembling large mechanical components is strongly preferred.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.

Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and production schedules.
Additional Requirements

Must wear appropriate PPE as needed.

Willingness to cross-train and support other departments as business needs change.
