Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Product Analyst to support and optimize our fresh produce procurement and logistics operations. This role will be responsible for daily coordination with suppliers, logistics oversight, quality control, order tracking, data accuracy, and continuous improvement of our produce operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the produce industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers, warehouse teams, and store managers.

Responsibilities
- Daily Procurement: Assist in sourcing fresh produce daily from multiple suppliers in the Bay Area to meet demand requirements.
- Logistics Coordination: Monitor logistics to ensure timely delivery of produce to the warehouse by 8:00 AM each day.
- Price Negotiation: Support negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms without compromising on quality.
- Demand Forecasting: Oversee produce demand forecasting and confirm daily orders with store managers to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Quality & Sales Monitoring: Monitor produce quality and sell-through data to drive sales performance and reduce waste.
- Shrink Management: Oversee accurate tracking of produce shrinkage due to damage, expiration, or quality issues, and ensure proper documentation.
- Claims & Refunds: Submit and follow up on refund claims for missing, damaged, expired, or poor-quality products from suppliers.
- Customer Invoicing: Create and manage invoices for restaurant customers and maintain accurate tracking of order fulfillment.
- Data Management: Learn and utilize internal operational software to maintain clean and complete data, with the goal of improving sales and profitability.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in the produce or fresh food industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work effectively with retail store managers and operations teams.
- High proficiency in spreadsheets and accurate data entry/calculation.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and detail-oriented.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all business dealings.
