RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Every other weekend rotation with holidays as needed
\n• Patient ratio of 6:1 during all shifts
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• First time travelers welcome
\n• Med Surg Telemetry and Telemetry experience required
\n• BLS certification required, ACLS and NIH preferred
\n• EPIC charting system experience required
\n• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
\n• Float required between all facilities
\n• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
\n• Care for acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients
\n• Manage patients with diagnoses including respiratory illness, post-operative surgery patients, orthopedic cases, pain management, GI bleeding, CHF, diabetes complications, renal failure, and drug overdose
\n• Handle patients with CIWA scores below 7, suicidal patients, arrhythmias, radioactive therapy patients, seizure patients, and stable COVID patients
\n• Administer IV medication drips including Heparin and TNA
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
\n• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, chest tube management, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, and rapid response team utilization
