Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Consultant to lead and oversee complex Business Process Automation (BPA) operations in support of our DHHS client. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level client stakeholders and will be responsible for managing multiple interrelated projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services that align with client expectations and program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, organize, and manage all BPA support operations involving multiple concurrent and complex project workstreams.
- Direct and coordinate the efforts of multidisciplinary teams, including BPA analysts, technical specialists, and support personnel.
- Serve as the senior liaison between the client and contractor teams, maintaining regular communication with key stakeholders and decision-makers within DHHS.
- Formulate, review, and monitor project/task plans, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of key deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness, and contractual compliance.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to established project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Drive continuous improvement across BPA processes, methodologies, and reporting mechanisms.
- Represent the program in executive-level meetings and briefings with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing complex federal government programs or projects, preferably within DHHS or related agencies.
- Proven expertise in Business Process Automation, program governance, and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with Agile and/or other federal project management frameworks is a plus.
