- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)\n
- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Unit: GMS3 – 36 beds, adult and geriatric patient population\n
- Employment Type: Travel RN contract\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience\n
- ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply\n
- Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline registration promptly upon contract signing\n
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract\n
- Experience with electronic charting systems preferred\n
- Flexibility to rotate schedules if needed\n
\n\nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; manage cardiac drips (no titration); respond to rapid response and code teams\n
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform blood product administration\n
- Care for patients with feeding tubes, colostomies, and renal failure; manage pre/post hemodialysis care\n
- Utilize isolation precautions and manage central, PICC, and peripheral lines\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy\n
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards\n
- Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled\n
