The Marketing Manager is one who values Orbus’ success and has a strong desire for autonomy in managing the brand strategy and marketing programs of two business divisions – Orbus and Nimlok. This position is a marketer’s dream and offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Enterprise VP of Marketing, fantastic marketing and sales team members, manage strategic and tactical projects – digital and website projects, creative collateral projects, new product introductions, lead generation campaigns, email, social media, advertising programs, corporate events, communications and more.

The ideal candidate will have impressive experience and portfolio showing quantitative and qualitative results of marketing programs and campaigns, high-level design of digital pieces, website content, email blasts, social media posts, presentations, presentations, and digital collateral.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of all marketing projects for the Orbus and Nimlok brands
  • Expert understanding of brand/identity development as this role functions as brand leader, content manager/steward/owner/creator and will spearhead marketing programs and projects
  • Responsible for two important facets of each brand’s program – a) building/maintaining/evolving a sales & marketing toolkit for distributor adoption and business development b) maintain/develop/enhance marketing programs that build dealer and prospective dealer awareness, interest & education and drive sales conversion and wallet share growth
  • Works with team to design and develop creative materials, branded email campaigns, social media assets, digital, printed and sales, marketing and presentation tools, ads, educational videos and more
  • Plans, schedules, and writes and creates content for & drives campaigns in effort to grow, expand and remain competitive through building brand awareness, driving traffic to website (via organic, paid, email & social channels), generating leads and revenue
  • Monthly program metric data tracking & analysis for continual improvement of website(s) performance, SEO rankings, audience engagement with emails, media response to PR, audience engagement to social posts & ads, engagement at events & lead generation across programs
  • Manages product information and pricing on websites and external product databases
  • Manages Brand budgets, expenses, and investments
  • Conducts competitive research & industry trend monitoring, analysis & key takeaway establishment, voice of customer surveys & data analysis for continuous improvement and influence in program
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with Teammates, SEO, Media Vendors and Dealer Partners
  • Enriches dealer and end-user audiences through continuous list building efforts
  • Facilitates public relations and Business Award submissions and applications
  • Creates presentations for internal communications, dealer and internal sales team training, and anything else our clients or new business development needs demand

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Business Communications
  • Min. 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing preferred
  • Adept at developing sales and marketing tools & marketing programs designed to foster business growth, drive leads, awareness, value and make it easy & desirable to do business with the company
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Platforms, Google (Analytics, AdWords, My Business, Tag Manager)
  • Experience in 2D Graphic Design & with Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator a plus
  • Proficiency adding/editing content in website CMS and with Marketing Automation software – HubSpot
  • Experience with SEO software and list building software/partners
  • Experience marketing to distributors a plus
