Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional opportunity is available for experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support K-12 students across multiple school campuses in Fort Worth, TX. This contract role will span the current school year with a schedule of 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support to students primarily in self-contained or life skills settings, including those with Autism, intellectual, and emotional disturbances.
- Collaborate closely with Behavior Interventionists and classroom teachers to implement behavior intervention plans.
- Adapt to rotating assignments across 2-3 campuses weekly, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to commute as needed.
- Address high levels of restraint and aggression while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will provide oversight and guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid National Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with students requiring behavioral support.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and specialists.
- Flexibility in work location, willing to rotate between multiple campuses.
