THE PRACTICE:

South Bend Orthopaedics is a dynamic physician-owned and - led orthopaedic managed service organization that seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Upper Extremity Surgeon to join a premier practice-partner in Indiana. South Bend Orthopaedics, who works as the team physicians for the University of Notre Dame, is a highly respected orthopedic practice serving patients across northern Indiana and southern Michigan. The practice is known for its commitment to exceptional outcomes and personalized, community-focused care for a population of over 850,000. For (8) decades, the practice has provided comprehensive orthopedic, spine, and sports medicine services to the South Bend area and surrounding communities. You will be joining a team of fellowship-trained, specialty-focused physicians and a dedicated clinical staff who prioritize quality, accessibility, and patient experience. South Bend Orthopaedics is professionally managed, enabling physicians to focus their time and expertise on caring for patients rather than administrative responsibilities.

With offices located in South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, and Plymouth, South Bend Orthopaedics has (20) sub-specialty physicians, MRI facility, an outpatient surgery center, and (4) rehabilitation suites. As an essential part of our upper extremity service line, our ancillary offerings include advanced imaging and rehabilitation for the complete care of the patient.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Valid board certification or eligibility
• Must be fellowship-trained
• Current state medical license and in good standing
• Proven experience as an upper extremity specialist
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities
