Location: Hamlin, TX 79520 (On-site)
Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week guaranteed (No weekends, No on-call)
Pay: $38.50/hour

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility training
- Perform patient support techniques such as positioning, transfers, and safe ambulation progression per plan of care
- Track and document patient progress, tolerance, and functional outcomes in a timely, accurate manner
- Communicate treatment results, observations, and patient response to the Physical Therapist
- Support a patient-centered rehab approach in a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing environment
- Maintain compliance with safety practices, clinical standards, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas (or compact license accepted, if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of PTA experience (required)
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or geriatric rehab strongly preferred
- Strong skills in gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility
- Comfortable with consistent documentation and reporting in a clinical setting
- Reliable attendance and ability to work on-site during scheduled day shifts
