In this role, you won't just follow instructions—you'll use your experience and judgment to manage complex logistics tasks from start to finish. We're looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to excel in one of our core disciplines: Distribution, Receiving, or Production Supply. If you’re ready to leverage your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do

As an Inventory Specialist II, you will become a subject matter expert in your assigned discipline. You will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that ensure the smooth flow of materials and products, reporting to the appropriate supervision in Distribution, Receiving, or Production Supply.

Distribution

You will manage all outbound processes. This includes:

  • Picking orders using RF handheld devices and our ASRS storage and conveyor system.
  • Manually staging and building orders for shipment.
  • Verifying and packing orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilizing shipping carrier software and palletizing orders.
  • Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and powered pallet jacks, to stage orders on the dock.
  • Conducting regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Receiving

You will handle all inbound processes. This includes:

  • Interpreting shipment documents like Bills of Lading and Packing Lists.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve issues with incoming materials.
  • Executing goods receipts within our ERP system.
  • Sorting, labeling, and packaging products for put-away.
  • Putting materials away using paper Transfer Orders and RF mobile devices.
  • Performing regular cycle counts.

Production Supply (Stock Room)

You will oversee material fulfillment for production. This includes:

  • Creating, picking, and distributing Transfer Orders using paper documents and RF devices.
  • Delivering materials directly to the correct work areas.
  • Properly handling returns and putting away new materials.
  • Performing regular cycle counts.

Across all disciplines, you will be expected to operate various material handling equipment, work with sophisticated warehouse coordinate systems, and perform all tasks with proper system transactions.

What You'll Bring

  • A high school diploma, or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment with a fully implemented Warehouse Management (WM) system.
  • A solid working knowledge of proper warehouse procedures and inventory handling practices.
  • Proficiency in operating with TurckConnect and SAP to perform daily tasks.
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform frequent standing, lifting, and carrying in a warehouse environment.
  • A pre-employment skills assessment will be required to demonstrate proficiency in following instructions, reading comprehension, basic math, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
