American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring a valid MO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

- Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Medical/Surgical unit in a 110-bed short-term acute care hospital
- General medical and surgical patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to other units including surgical and telemetry, as well as to an offsite sister facility as needed
- Epic EMR; experience required
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- 13-week contract

Requirements\n

- Active MO RN license or compact license with MO as primary state required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information\n

- Chemotherapy administration experience and charge nurse experience are preferred skills
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Some initial orientation sessions will be scheduled on weekdays, as weekend orientation classes are typically unavailable
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Standard travelers may work at BJC facilities for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- Navy scrubs required
- Free parking is available on-site
