Job Description
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and making adjustments to all CNC equipment in the plant. This includes CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and CNC Grinders. The machinist is expected to read and interpret work orders and blueprints, select tooling, fully set up machines, and execute quality checks on parts.
Shifts Available: 2nd shift Mon-Thurs or Weekend shift 1st/3rd
Pay: $35/hour plus $140 per diem for 7 days/week
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and make adjustments to CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.
- Read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
- Select appropriate tooling and set up machines.
- Touch off parts and indicate tool paths.
- Conduct quality checks on machined parts.
- Perform program edits using G&M Code.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with CNC setup and operation, specifically with Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Capability to perform program edits using G&M Code.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
