Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching position is available at a high school in Aurora, CO, offering the opportunity to work with a small caseload of students with mild to moderate needs. This role provides a dynamic environment where youll deliver both push-in and pull-out support, contributing significantly to student success and individualized educational plans.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education teaching license required
- Experience working with mild to moderate special education needs
- Skilled in both push-in (inclusive classroom) support and pull-out (specialized instruction) settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff

Contract Type: Full-time, Contract Position
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning style and needs
- Providing push-in support within general education classrooms to assist student engagement and achievement
- Conducting pull-out sessions focused on specialized instruction and skill development
- Monitoring and reporting student progress while fostering a positive learning environment
- Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and external professionals to support holistic student growth
