Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day schedule
\n• Recent travel experience required
\n• Cerner experience strongly preferred
\n• Local candidates not accepted (50 mile radius rule applies)
\n• Must be ARRT or NMTCB registered or registry pending
\n• NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license required
\n• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist required
\n• Must have working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
\n• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration required
\n• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies and prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under Radiologist direction
\n• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment
\n• Follow radiation safety techniques and policies for receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
\n• Handle proper charging of procedures through hospital information system
\n• Organize daily work to ensure smooth workflow and prompt exam performance
\n• Primarily "Garden Variety" imaging with stress tests, HIDA, bone scans, and PET/CT helpful but not required
\n• Must adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment as purchased
