Job DescriptionSpeech Language Pathologist – Elementary & Middle School (K-8)
Schedule: Full-Time, 2025–2026 School YearLocation: Largo, MDGrade Level: K-8 Start Date: ASAP - June 16th 2026 - On-Site - 35 hours per week Salary Range: $61,000 - $80,000 annualized salary or $49.51-$64.94 hourly About the OpportunityAnthroMed is partnering with a supportive and collaborative school in Largo, MD to welcome a Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team.   • Provide therapy and intervention services to students
  • Address expressive/receptive language and pragmatic skills
  • Support students with behavior management needs as related to communication
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Caseload Details:

  • Working with students in grades K-8th, some exposure to supporting students with Autism
  • Blended elementary and middle school caseloads are common
  • Ability to match caseload to almost any age group / diagnoses based on clinician
  • The average caseload size is in the low 50s, no caseload over 60
  • The district uses a workload model to ensure equitable distribution of responsibilities
    • The workload model is continually being adjusted annually to best support clinicians
    • The model is based on time spent, and approximately half of your day is spent on assigned IEP services in the district
    • If a clinician has a workload or caseload overage, additional support is assigned to reduce their total


Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (MSLP)
  • MD Department of Health SLP License
  • Experience with elementary and middle school populations strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
