Schedule: Monday–Friday, Saturdays as needed

Salary: Starting at $18.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in medical billing (CAN BE TRAINED) to oversee daily administrative operations.


Position Summary

The Pediatric Office Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, supervising front office and billing functions, and supporting providers and staff. This role is ideal for an organized, dependable professional who enjoys working in a small practice setting.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-office operations and workflow
  • Manage scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and phone coverage
  • Supervise medical billing, coding, claims submission, and follow-up
  • Monitor accounts receivable, denials, and insurance payments
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations
  • Train, supervise, and support office staff
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and records
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, staff, and families
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a medical or pediatric office manager
  • Medical billing can be trained.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, claims, and collections
  • Experience with EHR and practice management systems
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric practice experience
  • Billing certification preferred (CPC, CPB, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans
