Job Summary
Hampton Roads Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a motivated and experienced Podiatrist to join our growing team. With established locations in Williamsburg and Hampton, we are excited to continue expanding our presence in Gloucester and are looking for a physician who is eager to make a lasting impact on the community while helping grow and shape our newest market.

- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Experience managing a high-volume patient schedule
- Comfort participating in local hospital call coverage
- Passion for wound care, limb preservation, and comprehensive podiatric care

- Ethical, self-motivated, and efficient work ethic
Responsibilities
- Examine patient’s legs and feet to diagnose diseases
- Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
- Perform wound care
- Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
- Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
- Provide education/consultation to patients
- Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
Basic Requirements:
- Virginia State License/DEA #
- ABPS BC/BE
- strong work ethic and self-motivating
- DPM with 3 year surgical residency training; wound care interest a plus
- inpatient and outpatient work
- high earning potential
- excellent communication skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening
- clean background check
