Maleko Personnel is seeking a professional, motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the team of one of our well-established furniture clients in the Tigard-Lake Oswego area. This is a customer-facing role that plays a vital part in the daily operations of the store.
Note: This is a full-time position that requires weekend availability and work on key holidays such as Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Black Friday, and Presidents Day. Flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in person, by phone, and via email
- Monitor and respond to email and text inquiries promptly and professionally
- Handle multi-line phone system: screen, transfer, or take detailed messages
- Greet and assist walk-in customers with payments, order entries, or service claims
- Process and file sales orders, invoices, and customer payments using internal systems
- Schedule deliveries and pickups, confirm addresses, and ensure balances are collected
- Maintain accurate logs and notes of all customer communication
- Reconcile daily transactions and complete all opening/closing office reports
- Process financing applications and ensure confidentiality of customer data
- Maintain an organized workspace and support office inventory
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Quick learner with strong computer skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Clean, professional presentation and strong customer service presence
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams
- Basic familiarity with accounting or financial processes is a plus
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Work Schedule
Full-time,
Monday- Friday during training time.
Wednesday - Sunday (Regular Schedule)
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
