Makwa Global is looking for multiple DAHRTIs to augment Government / SOTC-2/ instructor Cadres’ training requirements. The position focuses on expertise, curriculum support, safety oversight, and scenario-based instruction—not facility provision—ensuring training replicates real-world operational demands. DAHRTIs shall be capable of instructing and supervising all aspects of Direct Acton (DA) within the Individual Training Course (ITC) Phase 2, Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Master Assaulters Course (MMAC) and MARSOF Special Training Course (STC)at Camp Lejeune, NC. The Direct Action High-Risk Training Instructor provides advanced, scenario-driven instruction and mentorship to MARSOC operators across individual, team, and unit-level Direct Action (DA) mission profiles. This position supports the development, refinement, and execution of high-risk training events that replicate complex, ambiguous, and hostile environments in support of MARSOC’s readiness, deployment preparation, and mission rehearsal requirements.
DAHRTIs integrate SOF-relevant TTPs, cutting-edge weapons employment methodologies, multi-domain threat replication, and realistic stress inoculation to ensure MARSOC forces maintain proficiency in lethal, discriminating, and disciplined application of force in support of global special operations. DAHRTIs provide advanced instruction in Direct Action TTPs, including CQB, urban maneuver, assault force integration, threat discrimination, and tactical decision-making under stress. DAHRTIs Train students in breaching fundamentals (mechanical, ballistic, thermal, explosive where authorized), target analysis, pre-assault planning, and dynamic/rapid action drills. DAHRTIs support execution of ITC Phase II, delivering hands-on instructions to students progressing into MARSOF operational billets. DAHRTIs develop, refine, and rehearse training scenarios that replicate operational environments, incorporating realism, multi-domain injects, and contemporary threat TTPs.
DAHRTIs should be abreast of current Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTPs) related to MARRSOC Direct Action core tasks. DAHRTIs shall assist in the duties, functions and collateral tasks associated with being a Direct Action Instructor, to include assisting in: maintaining course Master Lesson Files; developing course schedules and schemes of maneuver; classroom and range preparation; and course logistics.
Requirements:
- 10 years' military experience with a minimum of 5 years Special Operations / UMSC Force Recon Organization.
- Former SOF operator (USMC Raider, Army Ranger/SF, Navy SEAL, AFSOC operator, or equivalent) with direct operational DA experience.
- 5+ years Special Operations experience, including deployments executing DA missions.
- Demonstrated instructor experience in Direct Action skill areas: CQB, breaching, close-quarters marksmanship, small-unit tactics, or combatives.
- Proven ability to instruct, evaluate, and mentor personnel during high-risk/live-fire evolutions.
- Experience supporting complex training cycles or SOF pipelines (e.g., ITC, A&S, team workup phases).
- Secret Clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
- Graduate of Service Special Operations CQB course
- Capable of passing current weapons qualifications
- Certified as Range Safety Officer & Laser Range Safety Officer
- Proficient w/current CQB TTPs; Instructor experience at a Special Operations CQB Course
- Formal School Instructor Course (FSIC) or equivalent
- Possess advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to carry 50 lbs. / wear organizational Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended durations of time throughout training days.
- State driver’s license
- Secret Clearance on day one of contract execution
- Proficient in Deliberate and Time Critical Risk Management
- Proficient in developing and implementing safe and realistic schemes of maneuver in support of training objectives.
- Proficient in developing and implementing Standard Operations Procedures
- Proficient in Shoot House Safety techniques
- Proficient in applying Marine Corps Orders and Unit SOPs as relates to Range Safety
