Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment, specifically with behavioral-based responsibilities
- ABA training or demonstrated hands-on experience with Applied Behavior Analysis
- Comfortable working with SPED (Special Education) populations, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- High school diploma required
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting
- Willingness to undergo district fingerprinting and a comprehensive onboarding process
- Ability to provide at least one completed professional reference before being presented
- Flexible mindset to accommodate possible rearrangements in classroom assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist a preschool student partially in an intensive needs classroom and general education preschool classroom
- Implement behavioral strategies to support positive student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other paraprofessionals to create an inclusive classroom experience
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment, adapting to evolving student and classroom needs
- Communicate proactively with staff regarding student progress and changes in classroom dynamics
This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues until June 17, 2026, offering approximately 26 hours per week (Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 2:50 PM).
