Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Structural Fitters for an immediate start in New Castle, DE!

WEEKLY PAY!!

• PAY: $25-$33/hour (based upon experience)
• HOURS: Shifts will be 8 to 10-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40-50 hours/ week)
• SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 8:00am – 5:30 pm
• START DATE: ASAP
• DURATION: Temp-to-hire

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled 1st Class Structural Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on various structural projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using stick welding.
• Assemble components and structures by interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
• Conduct pipe threading and rigging operations as needed for project requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in stick welding.
• Must have experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Must have advanced blueprint reading skills.
• Strong skills in building and assembling metal structures according to specifications.
• Knowledge of pipe threading techniques and rigging practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
