Overview:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping using QuickBooks, office administration, and basic financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and scheduling appointments.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and monthly reconciliation statements.
- Assist the Accounting team with reports and tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Ensure office operations run smoothly.
- Support management with various tasks such as contract review.
Skills and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and office management principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
