Your Role as an Optometrist

In our practice, primary care goes beyond just prescribing contacts and eyeglasses. Our optometrists frequently encounter a variety of anterior and posterior segment pathologies. You will have the opportunity to manage ocular diseases at your comfort level, including:

  • Treating corneal ulcers and uveitis
  • Addressing red eye issues
  • Diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma
  • Removing foreign bodies
  • Diagnosing macular disease, retinal holes, and retinal detachments

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an Accredited School of Optometry
  • State Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state where you will practice (New Graduates welcome!)
