The Master Scheduler develops and maintains project and program schedules, ensuring alignment with project requirements and interdependencies. This role uses scheduling tools to provide comprehensive support, enabling effective project execution and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update project-specific and integrated schedules using Primavera and Microsoft Project, ensuring sound logic and compliance with requirements.
- Evaluate contractor and agency-provided schedules for accuracy and feasibility, making Recommendations to project managers.
- Produce an integrated schedule capturing all project interdependencies, reporting variances as directed by the government.
- Prepare comprehensive project schedules, manage milestones and resources, and update schedules monthly to reflect current progress.
- Create monthly performance measure reports, including progress, cost, and slippage data, with projections for the next month.
- Ensure all schedule data is updated monthly in designated systems.
- Provide scheduling expertise to support construction and facility management projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree (required; cannot be offset by experience).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, with specific expertise in construction scheduling.
- Skills: Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project; strong analytical skills; experience with project management systems preferred.
- Certifications: Scheduling certifications (e.g., PMI-SP) advantageous.
- Other: Ability to work 100% remotely with prior government authorization. Must obtain security clearance. Resume approval by government representatives required.
