Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being.

Qualifications:
- License Required:
- LLMSW or LMSW
- MI School Social Worker License
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
