Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring an Assembler I / II in Houston, TX 77099.

Job Description:

• Performs instrument assembly by following instructions on drawings and work instructions
• Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operate small hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.
• Performs in- process inspection to ensure products meet specifications
• Will be performing bead blasting operations
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Filling out time sheets and all other required paperwork, relationships within the work team

Job Requirements:

• Must have 5 years of related assembly experience
• Must have manufacturing experience, preferably related to medical device experience
• Must have experience using the following measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Must have experience in freehand grinding on the standing belt and polishing wheels to create shapes, smooth edges, and surfaces
• Must know how to set up and operate manual benders and pneumatic/ hydraulic presses.
• Must have great communication skills
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Pay:

$19.00-$23.00 an hour. We pay weekly.
