Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support an elementary school serving kindergarten through 5th grade students in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position will run from late August through mid-December, covering the upcoming school year.
The position involves working with approximately 50 students in need of speech and language services. The school offers specialized programming including autism support and a Spanish immersion curriculum within federal settings 1-3. You will collaborate closely with another full-time SLP on staff to provide comprehensive speech therapy to the student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech/language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP or appropriate licensure for SLPA.
- Experience working in school-based or healthcare settings.
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-age children (K-5).
- Familiarity with autism programming and bilingual/immersion environments is a plus.
