Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks dedicated Special Education Teachers with moderate license and experience at the secondary level to serve students in grades 6-12. Teaching positions are open within a thriving K-12 public school district located in Massachusetts.
Available full-time contract roles include:
- Two positions at the high school level (grades 9-12), with schedules from 7:30 AM to 2:10 PM, extending through June 2026.
- One position at the middle school level (grades 6-8), with a schedule from 7:50 AM to 2:40 PM, extending through March 2026.
Candidates should hold a valid Special Education certification and possess experience supporting secondary students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering an inclusive learning environment to support student growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Moderate Special Education license.
- Proven experience working with secondary students (grades 6-12).
- Ability to develop and execute customized instructional strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and adaptive classroom atmosphere.
Locations:
- Two full-time roles at a high school serving grades 9-12.
- One full-time role at a middle school serving grades 6-8.
