Job Title: Surgical Technologist – OR (General)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Shift: Day/Evening | 8-Hour Shifts (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Call: None
Weekends: None

Compensation:

• Gross Weekly: $2,441

• W2 Rate: $22/hour

• Weekly Stipend: $1,561/week

Position Overview:

A reputable healthcare facility in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in the General Operating Room. The Surgical Tech will assist the surgical team by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments and supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow during procedures.

This is a no-call, no-weekend assignment offering a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgical procedures

• Set up operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment

• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures

• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments

• Assist with patient positioning and preparation

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

• Support efficient room turnover between cases

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology or OR Technician Program (Civilian or Military)

• CST Certification (NBSTSA) – Required (Must Maintain Active Status)

• Current BLS Certification

• Ability to Read, Write, and Communicate in English

• Orthopedic Experience Strongly Preferred
