What You'll Do
As a Compliance Specialist, you'll support the development, implementation, and ongoing success of our compliance and privacy programs. You'll help identify, assess, and reduce compliance risk in a regulated healthcare environment while living our iCare values every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, CMS, ERISA, and related frameworks)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate compliance concerns and complaints with integrity and discretion
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
- Partner cross‑functionally (Legal, Operations, IT, Clinical) to embed compliance into daily operations
- Assist with privacy program activities, including breach response and regulatory reporting
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and compliance metrics
- Track compliance obligations across multiple states and monitor regulatory changes

What You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Law, Public Health, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in compliance, privacy, audit, or a regulated environment
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA strongly preferred)
- Experience conducting audits and/or investigations
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
Preferred
- Compliance or privacy certification (CHC, CHPC, CCEP, CIPP, etc.)
- Healthcare, health tech, or insurance industry experience
- Familiarity with compliance platforms (Navex, Healthstream, Ethico)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
