Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and advanced proficiency in Excel and NetSuite. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to executive decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Generate daily sales reports across multiple departments using Excel and NetSuite.
• Analyze and format sales data, categorizing results by product group to support team initiatives.
• Act as the primary NetSuite resource, managing reports, creating saved searches, and resolving data-related issues.
• Assist in the development, consolidation, and review of budgets during key financial cycles.
• Produce executive-level financial reports, including budget summaries and strategic analyses.
• Validate and review department-level financial transactions, addressing any inconsistencies.
• Support stakeholders during periodic budgeting processes by compiling data and addressing inquiries.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or budgeting roles, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated expertise with NetSuite, particularly in reporting and saved search functionalities.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret large data sets with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with budgeting processes, particularly during fiscal year-end cycles.
• Familiarity with variance analysis and financial modeling techniques.
• Proven skills in producing business and financial reports to support strategic planning.
