Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production schedules to achieve daily output targets and optimize workflow.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies within the finishing area.
• Provide training and coaching to finishing operators to enhance skills and productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the proper use and routine maintenance of finishing equipment and machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• Proven expertise in various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, polishing, deburring, final assembly).
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques relevant to finished products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules, optimize workflow, and meet output targets.
• Experience with safety protocols, compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production tracking and data analysis.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices for finishing equipment.
• Advanced training or certification in quality control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
