This individual will be responsible for the strategic vision, operational oversight, and clinical direction of our therapy division across all service areas.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed behavioral health professional who not only brings strong clinical leadership and innovation in non-pharmacological interventions but also understands the importance of aligning clinical programs with business objectives. They will play a critical role in ensuring that therapeutic models are financially sustainable, scalable, and integrated with our broader operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic oversight of the therapy division, including team leadership, goal setting, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to re-envision therapeutic service delivery models that are clinically impactful and operationally scalable.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize therapy services within the framework of the organization's value-based care and business priorities.

Clinical Oversight

  • Ensure the highest standard of clinical care through supervision, guidance, and development of therapy staff.
  • Oversee clinical programming, documentation quality, and compliance with licensing and regulatory bodies.
  • Advance evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and innovative non-pharmacological approaches.

Program & Business Development

  • Design, implement, and evaluate therapy programs that are clinically sound, cost-effective, and operationally sustainable.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and business development to model, monitor, and adjust programs to align with budgetary goals and reimbursement strategies.
  • Develop scalable care pathways that support consistent service delivery across multiple facilities and regions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with various departments and leaders to ensure the therapy division is supported and equipped for success.
  • Support marketing and growth strategies by helping define the clinical value proposition for therapeutic services.

Quality & Compliance

  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement strategies to enhance therapy effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to state, federal, and internal compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years of clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility-based settings.
  • Proven success in building and leading sustainable, high-impact clinical programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, reimbursement models, and the intersection of clinical services and business operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills.
