A dynamic full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) opportunity is available in Savannah, GA, serving students primarily in a K-8 middle school setting. This onsite role requires an active Georgia SLP license along with GaPSC certification. The position offers a comprehensive work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing a full engagement in student support and speech therapy services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Active Georgia state licensure as an SLP and current GaPSC certification
- Experience working with K-8 students preferred
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy interventions and educational environments
- Commitment to onsite work, facilitating direct student interaction and collaboration with educational staff
Location:
- Savannah, GA
- This is a travel assignment with onsite presence required daily
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
