Our reputation is built on a foundation of safety, technical precision, and an unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines.

As we continue to take on high-value, high-impact contracts, we are seeking a seasoned Electrical Foreman to lead our field operations.

Position Summary

The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for the on-site leadership and management of large-scale commercial projects ranging from $500k to $10M. This role requires a master-level understanding of electrical systems, exceptional "big picture" project management skills, and the ability to effectively lead crews of 10 to 40+ electricians. You will be the primary bridge between the field, the project manager, and other trades.

Responsibilities

  • Site Leadership: Oversee daily operations for crews of 10 to 40 people, ensuring maximum productivity and high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Project Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of large-scale projects (up to $10M), ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Technical Oversight: Read and interpret complex blueprints, site plans, and one-line diagrams; layout the project for the crew to ensure accurate installation.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to NEC, OSHA, and local codes, fostering a "safety-first" culture on every job site.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trade leads to resolve conflicts and prevent delays.
  • Resource Management: Track material inventory, manage tool requirements, and forecast manpower needs to prevent shortages.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure all installations meet R&R’s high standards and project specifications.
  • Mentorship: Train and develop junior electricians and apprentices, ensuring the next generation of R&R talent is skilled and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of electrical experience, with a proven track record in a leadership or foreman role.
  • Project History: Demonstrated experience running commercial/industrial projects in the $500k – $10M range.
  • Leadership: Expert ability to manage large teams (up to 40 people) and delegate tasks effectively based on skill levels.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), conduit bending, panel schedules, and motor controls.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues on the fly and make executive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders and directing crews.
  • Licensing: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment and Requirements

  • Active construction site environment requires physical stamina (lifting, climbing, and extended periods on your feet).
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and meet strict project milestones.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or travel to various regional job sites as project demands dictate.
