Psychiatry

Seeking a Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage for adult patients. The provider will perform daily rounding and admissions in a collaborative hospital setting. The preferred schedule is two weeks per month, working seven consecutive days every other week.

Compensation: Hourly: $250/hr, Overtime: $310/hr, Holiday Rate: $370/hr.

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Assignment Duration: Current approval through September 23, 2026 (extension anticipated)

Coverage: Two weeks per month

Preferred Schedule: Seven consecutive days every other week

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Practice Setting

Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital

32-bed adult behavioral health unit

Responsibilities

Perform daily inpatient psychiatric rounding

Complete psychiatric admissions

Manage adult behavioral health patients

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team

Practice Details

Adult patient population

32 inpatient psychiatric beds

Variable daily census

No procedures required

Provider will work with other behavioral health clinicians

EMR: Epic (preferred)

Requirements

Active Oregon medical license

BLS certification

Inpatient psychiatry experience

Must meet one of the following clinical activity requirements:

Documentation of inpatient or psychiatric consultative services for at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or

Completion of an accredited hospital-affiliated psychiatry residency, fellowship, or research program within the past 12 months (residency logs accepted for recent graduates)
