Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services within an educational setting in Providence, RI. This role focuses on delivering psychological assessments, counseling, and support to students remotely, ensuring their academic and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms.
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in telehealth or remote psychological service delivery.
- Strong understanding of educational psychology and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively.
