Job DescriptionCharlotte custom crating facility hiring! Carpenter to build shipping crates. Full time temporary to permanent positions. The 1st shift is 7am-3pm and 2nd shift 3pm-11pm available. $19.00hr. Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of construction and carpentry-related tasks, including but not limited to carrying materials, using tools and machinery, and assisting skilled trades people as needed.
- Read and follow blueprints, plans, and instructions from supervisors.
- Build custom wood crates per plans.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Carpenter Requirements:
- Must be able to read a tape measure and convert decimal measurements to fractions.
- Previous construction and carpentry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
