Overview

We are a large, established real estate management company operating across New Jersey. We manage a broad portfolio of residential and commercial properties and are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk to support our office operations and accounting department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage filing systems and ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness before finalizing reports
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications for various accounting tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office management
  • Process invoices, vendor statements, and payments
  • Maintain organized Excel spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Support management staff and property managers with administrative and accounting tasks
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document control
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
  • Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Perform general office duties and support management as a Managerial Assistant
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all administrative and payable functions

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, and reporting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to changing priorities
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, Property Management, or Administrative Support is preferred

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week)

• $25/hour starting rate, based on experience
