Overview
We are a large, established real estate management company operating across New Jersey. We manage a broad portfolio of residential and commercial properties and are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk to support our office operations and accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Manage filing systems and ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness before finalizing reports
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications for various accounting tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office management
- Process invoices, vendor statements, and payments
- Maintain organized Excel spreadsheets and financial reports
- Support management staff and property managers with administrative and accounting tasks
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document control
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
- Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Perform general office duties and support management as a Managerial Assistant
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all administrative and payable functions
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, and reporting)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional and reliable with a strong attention to detail
- Flexible and capable of adapting to changing priorities
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, Property Management, or Administrative Support is preferred
Schedule & Benefits
• Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week)
• $25/hour starting rate, based on experience
