\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last 6 months)\n
• Experience with postpartum couplet care and maternal-newborn assessments\n
• Valid New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License (no pending licenses accepted)\n
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start)\n
• Ability to complete full unit orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)\n
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO)\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a busy L&D/maternity unit\n
• Deliver postpartum couplet care, ensuring the well-being and safety of both mother and infant\n
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatology, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Participate in unit-based orientation and ongoing training, including required in-person and virtual sessions, HealthStream modules, and POCT class\n
• Adhere to hospital protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices in perinatal and maternity nursing\n
