Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026/27 school year to support elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. This contract position is located onsite in Hayward, CA, serving a caseload capped at 12 students. The role requires a dedicated professional committed to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active California Special Education Teacher credential
- Previous experience in special education preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in Hayward, CA
