Job Description
This role supports precast concrete operations by loading, unloading, and moving materials in an outdoor environment. You work primarily under the sun, handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area while supporting daily production needs.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload precast concrete materials and related products by hand and with basic material-handling equipment.
- Handle and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Work outdoors under the sun and in various weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
- Support the storage, staging, and organization of precast concrete products to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist with the preparation of precast concrete products as directed by supervisors or team leads.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to reduce hazards and support efficient operations.
- Communicate clearly with team members in Spanish or bilingually to coordinate tasks and ensure safe handling of materials.
- Follow daily instructions, schedules, and priorities to meet production and loading/unloading deadlines.
Essential Skills
- Ability to perform general labor tasks in a construction or concrete-related environment.
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Comfort working outdoors under the sun and in varying weather conditions for the entire workday.
- Experience with general construction, concrete, or outdoor labor is strongly preferred.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in a physically demanding role.
- Spanish language skills or bilingual communication ability to understand and follow instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in precast concrete, construction, or similar outdoor labor roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic material-handling practices and safe lifting techniques.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning start times.
- Willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift, full-time role with a standard schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with required availability to work on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM as needed. You work outdoors under the sun and in all weather conditions around precast concrete products and construction-related materials. The environment is physically demanding, with frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials up to 50 lbs. You work around typical construction-site conditions, where adherence to safety practices and use of appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
