We are looking for an accomplished Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee HR functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader to manage areas such as benefits administration, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and policy development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges while contributing to organizational success.
Responsibilities:
• Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including healthcare plans, retirement options, and other offerings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top healthcare candidates aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and implement structured onboarding processes to support new hires and facilitate their integration into the organization.
• Act as a mediator and advisor for employee relations matters, fostering a positive workplace culture and addressing concerns proactively.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, healthcare regulations, and compliance standards to mitigate risks.
• Maintain and update the employee handbook to reflect current policies and procedures, while creating new policies as needed.
• Strategize and optimize HR department workflows to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational priorities.
• Manage employee performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and growth-focused development goals.
• Lead investigations related to employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement policies that promote a productive and inclusive work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including expertise in compliance, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare HR practices and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in HR best practices.
• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
• Prior experience in customizing employee benefits and managing hybrid workforce initiatives within the healthcare sector.
