Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations

• Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care

• Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

• Monitor clinical documentation and resident assessments

• Participate in staffing, scheduling, and employee education

• Assist with infection control, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and promptly

• Promote a positive team environment focused on resident-centered care

• Participate in an on-call rotation along side the Director of Nursing to assist with nursing department needs and staffing needs.

• Work an every-other-weekend floor rotation in the event of staffing call-offs to help ensure resident care needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Knowledge of state survey process and regulatory compliance

• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
