The Manufacturing Production Leader at Innotec supports daily operations in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. Innotec is an industry leader in LED lighting, tube forming, and counterweight solutions, known for delivering innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective products. This role contributes to operational efficiency, scheduling effectiveness, and overall production performance, while supporting a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a growing global organization.
Requirements:
- Ensure achievement of monthly manufacturing KPIs and performance targets
- Maintain structured production meeting rhythms to drive accountability and consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production, tooling, and process issues on the floor
- Lead daily operations within a production cell, ensuring safe and efficient execution
- Work directly with operators to support production, remove obstacles, and improve performance
- Optimize labor utilization, cost efficiency, and workflow processes
- Manage inventory levels to support operational efficiency and minimize shortages or excess
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and own production-related projects
- Share best practices across manufacturing lines (cells) to improve overall performance
- Monitor and improve production metrics, including quality, efficiency, and throughput
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process improvements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory or leadership role
- Experience working in a manufacturing or automated production environment required
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles preferred
- Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and process optimization
- Familiarity with inventory management and labor cost analysis preferred
- This is an onsite position based in Zeeland, MI.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
