Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving multiple school locations throughout El Dorado County, CA. The assignment will last for the remainder of the current school year and offers an excellent opportunity to support students ranging from PreK through adult transition programs. Most sites cluster between El Dorado Hills and Camino, with some travel expected.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services in school settings spanning PreK to adult transition programs.
- Manage mild to moderate caseloads, with size variation depending on the assigned position.
- Work as an itinerant SLP, traveling to multiple school sites as required.
- Deliver onsite supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable.
- Maintain compliance with California state licensing requirements for SLPs.
- Utilize experience with California schools and SEIS (Special Education Information System) for case management and reporting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Comfortable with frequent travel within the county, potentially adjusting assignments during the semester.
- Experience working with mild to moderate student caseloads.
- Ability to provide onsite supervision for CFs and SLPAs if needed.
Location:
- Positions are located across multiple sites in El Dorado County, between El Dorado Hills and Camino, CA.
- This is an onsite role; remote or virtual options are not available.
- Proximity to Lake Tahoe (approximately 1.5 hours east) and Sacramento (about 45 minutes west) enhances travel flexibility.
