Location: Utica, NY
Shift: Night Shift – 12 Hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU). The ideal candidate will have strong step-down experience managing patients with complex cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an intermediate/step-down care setting
• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Manage patients requiring advanced monitoring and support equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care using electronic medical records
• Float to other units as required
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York RN License (must be in hand)
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU or step-down experience
• Travel experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR system

Required Certifications:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-acuity step-down or progressive care units
• Strong cardiac and neuro patient management skills
