Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting located in Oakland, CA. This contract role offers a compelling opportunity to support an 80-student caseload consisting primarily of elementary-aged children. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and a contract duration for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students with diverse communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 80 students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid schedule with negotiated days on-site and remote.

This role provides the flexibility of a hybrid work environment while allowing clinicians to contribute meaningfully to student growth. Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
