Job Description
This role supports a large industrial construction project by performing a wide range of site cleanup and final clean tasks. The general laborer helps maintain a safe, organized, and presentable jobsite by handling cleaning, signage management, light material movement, and support activities across the project site.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily site cleanup to keep work areas safe, organized, and free of debris.
- Run a floor scrubber on finished concrete slabs, including filling the machine with water or solution and emptying it safely after use.
- Build, place, and maintain jobsite signage, including constructing stands for signs, ensuring signs remain upright, and replacing signs if they are damaged or knocked down.
- Wash interior and exterior windows as directed, including operating a boom lift to access elevated areas when required.
- Support rework of the parking lot, including moving jersey barriers and running rope between cones to create or adjust traffic patterns.
- Sweep floors, walkways, and other designated areas to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Collect, consolidate, and remove trash and construction debris from the site to designated disposal areas.
- Follow all site safety rules and use provided personal protective equipment correctly at all times.
- Communicate with supervisors and crew members to understand daily priorities and complete tasks efficiently.
- Assist with other general labor tasks as needed to support project progress.
Essential Skills
- Previous commercial construction experience or final clean experience.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as a floor scrubber and boom lift under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail when performing cleaning and final presentation tasks.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment correctly.
- Effective communication skills to take direction and work as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on large industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with jobsite signage setup and basic traffic control layout.
- Comfort working at heights when using a boom lift for window cleaning.
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance on previous projects.

Work Environment
This is a full-time role scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work takes place on an active industrial construction site, both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions. The position involves regular physical activity, including walking, standing, lifting, and operating equipment such as floor scrubbers and boom lifts. All required personal protective equipment is provided, and adherence to safety protocols and site rules is expected at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
