We are looking for a dependable Safety focused Assembler to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assembling and maintaining components, and equipment in manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, team oriented, and committed to producing quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and maintain parts, piping, and components related to assigned work.
- Operate tools and equipment used in welding and assembly, including welding machines, hand tools, and power tools.
- Read and interpret prints or instructions accurately.
- Inspect workpieces for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Cut or dismantle metal assemblies using torches or plasma-arc equipment when needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Climb ladders or work on scaffolding as required.
- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by the Supervisor.
General Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Above-average communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with piping and tester assembly, and basic bolting and torque tools preferred.
- Must be a team player with a high level of dedication and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk up to 90% of the workday.
- Occasional bending, squatting, climbing ladders or stairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to accurately judge distances, heights, and weights.
